The Sky-Dweller debuted in 2012 as Rolex's most complicated production watch: annual calendar plus dual-time zone, controlled entirely through the rotating Ring Command bezel. Reference 336938 is the yellow-gold-tone variant with the bright black lacquer dial, a configuration that reads dressier than the champagne or slate options because the high-contrast black throws the gold-tone indices into sharp relief.
42mm case in yellow-gold-plated 904L steel, fluted Ring Command bezel that engages with the crown to select calendar, local hour, or winding functions. Off-center 24-hour disc at the dial centre tracks the second time zone. Month indication via small apertures at each hour marker, the red square sitting beside whichever month is current. Cyclops at 3 over the date.
