Datejust 36 is the original Datejust case size, Rolex hasn't moved off the 36mm proportions since the 1945 launch, and most collectors still call it the "right" Datejust size. This 126234 carries the fluted white-gold-tone bezel against a black sunburst dial with applied baton hour markers, no Roman or Arabic numerals.
The Jubilee five-piece bracelet was created the same year as the Datejust, for Rolex's 40th anniversary. Polished centre links, brushed outer pairs, concealed Crownclasp under the bracelet, no fold-over flap, the clasp tucks into the wristside link for a clean profile.
