The floral dial program ran in the Rolex catalog from roughly 2007 to 2015, originally launched as a feminine alternative to the standard sunburst and mother-of-pearl options. Reference 116233 in the 36mm two-tone configuration was the most common host for these dials, the case proportions suited the painted floral motif better than the larger Datejust II 41mm.
Champagne base with six painted flowers replacing the standard hour positions at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10; Roman-style printed numerals and applied yellow-gold-tone indices fill the remaining positions. Date window at 3 under the Cyclops lens. Fluted bezel in yellow-gold plating, polished finish.
